Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the most common questions about solar, AC, and financing.
Solar
A typical residential installation is completed within one day. Commercial or larger systems may take 2–3 days. Our team handles the full process from site survey to grid connection.
With the current net metering scheme, residential solar systems typically pay back their investment in fewer than 5 years. Commercial systems are usually recovered within 7 years.
Under the CEB net metering scheme, excess energy is fed back to the national grid and credited to your monthly bill, effectively turning your meter backwards.
Yes. Modern monocrystalline panels still generate electricity on overcast days, though at reduced output (typically 10–25% of peak capacity). Sri Lanka's sunshine levels make solar highly viable year-round.
You will receive a bill for any grid energy you consume beyond what your panels generate. Most customers see their bills reduced by 70–90%.
Air Conditioning
We supply leading inverter AC brands including Midea, Gree, Daikin, and Mitsubishi Electric. Our team will recommend the best fit for your space and budget.
We recommend a professional service every 4 months. All our installations include 12 months of free service visits.
Yes, if your solar system is sized correctly. Our engineers will calculate the optimal system size to power your AC during daylight hours and, with a battery, through the night as well.
Finance
We offer in-house installment plans and coordinate with the Asian Development Bank for subsidized solar loans at the lowest market interest rates. Contact us to find out which option suits your situation.
A refundable deposit is required to confirm your installation slot. The balance is payable upon completion of the installation.
Solar installations are exempt from import duties on equipment, and net metering allows you to earn credits from the CEB. Speak to our team for the latest incentive information.
